Fontevraud - Parcours de Visite

The Royal Abbey of Fontevraud is one of the largest monastic cities in Europe. Founded at the beginning of the 12th century, it is located near Saumur in France. With its 1000 years of history, the Abbey wanted to improve the experience of visiting. So, Fontevraud wanted to create a digital tour of 15 motion design clips, projected on screens installed in the key places of the domain and retracing the highlights of its history.
Within the team of Graphéine Paris, I took part on the different stages of the creation of these motion design clips. From the development of storyboards to animation, from the drawing of pictograms to the graphic processing of the archival documents of the Abbey.
Respecting a brand identity previously developed by the Graphéine agency (see the article), the design of the clips is sober and in accordance with the architecture of the place. Mixing both inspirations coming from Swiss Style and data-visualisation.
